Dee Dee Ralston
A native to Nashville. Dee Dee has always held an interest in physical fitness, relaxation, and helping others. She worked during her school years as an instructor in a body contouring salon and local fitness center.
After Graduating from David Lipscomb University with a Major in Psychology and Minor in Business, she accepted a position with a local hospital company, within their human resource department. It wasn’t long before her ability to connect with the medical community was recognized, and she was made Regional Director of their physician recruitment department. During her tenure there, she came to the realization that increased stress levels played a major role in the manifestation of psychological and physical health symptoms. This prompted Dee Dee to continue her education by becoming a certified massage therapist to address stress reduction. She practiced in this capacity for several years.
During this time, it was always important to Dee Dee to give back to her community. She has volunteered for numerous local charities and not-for-profit organizations, such as GiGi’s Playhouse, Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity.
Blessed with an unique opportunity, Dee Dee begin visiting spas internationally. This catapulted her obsession to help people. After years of researching various franchises, models, and treatments, she decided it was time to pursue her vision of opening her own spa. As long time client of La Bella e Famosa at Cool Springs, Dee Dee proposed a unique business model to Elizabeth Harris, the founder. This idea expounded on Elizabeth’s expertise in body and facial contouring and incorporated Dee Dee’s love of luxury spa atmospheres and the health benefits of stress reduction. Under Elizabeth’s consulting guidance, the vision of La Bella e Famosa in Green Hills became a reality.
